Prepare the ground under the wall. In order to prevent settling and to allow for proper drainage, ensure a good structural material is place in the wall location. We also recommend adding a small layer of pea gravel to allow for drainage. Make sure the ground is level. A string line can be used to ensure the wall is placed just the way you want.
Bottom blocks are the foundation for your wall. It's important to take the time to make sure the blocks are level and follow the desired line or curve of your wall.
Once your bottom block is set the remaining rows are easy to set and go!
Landscaping fabric can be placed behind the wall, if you desire. This helps prevent material from bleeding through the cracks when it rains. Backfill behind the wall with your desired material.
Step back and enjoy your new wall. These blocks are sturdy. They don't sag or fall over time like the small landscape blocks. Your wall will look good for years to come.
